Can I be Hypnotized?

The answer is simply
, Yes!
No person is "unhypnotizable".
What most people don't realize is that they are frequently in a light state of hypnosis on a regular basis. Have you ever driven down a familar highway and completely missed your exit? There you were operating your car- a sophisticated piece of heavy machinery while missing that exit that you knew so well.
Every time you day dream, get absorbed in a book or succumb to the fantasy of a film plot, you are in a light hypnotic trance. Your conscious mind takes a back seat to the subconscious, yet at the same time you are highly focused .
In hypnosis that state of relaxation is deepened, and anyone with an imagination can go there. It is a natural state of mind. All that is required on your part is a desire to be hypnotized and a clear understanding of what it is all about. And once you are in hypnosis, you will love it.
What is a session like?
Many
people describe the experience of hypnosis as one
of the most relaxing things they have ever done. Often they use expressions
that describe a mental vacation, an oasis of calm or even a spiritual
massage. Almost everyone emerges relaxed, alert and refreshed as if
they had a solid night's rest. But most of all they will know that
they are on the road to a more positive life.
The first step you will take is to have all of your questions answered about hypnosis and its benefits.
Next, we'll discuss your personal goals or the problem you wish to address, so that we can determine the best course of action to take which will yield the most effective and lasting results.
Next, the hypnotist will help guide you to that state of complete and deep relaxation and provide you with the most effective hypnotic suggestions to better your life.
Finally, after emerging, you will have a brief discussion to review the session, your thoughts and if necessary setting up your next appointment.
At the Westchester Hypnosis Center your session will be extremely pleasant and memorable. You will feel better than you ever thought possible.
Can Hypnosis Harm you?
The answer is simply no.
With more than 200 years of recorded hypnosis history, there is no documentation of anyone ever being harmed in any way. You cannot remain in a trance even if the hypnotist left you while in that state. You would simply emerge on your own within a very short time. And again, you cannot be made to do anything against your will. If a hypnotist attempted to do so, you would emerge quickly as you would instantly recognize the suggestion as being unacceptable to your belief system.
Hypnosis is a state of complete consent. Any time you wish to emerge from the state, you will instantly open your eyes and be fully aware within seconds. You cannot be kept in hypnosis against your will.
