So, What Is Hypnosis Really About?
"Notes from the field"

Hypnotherapy can help improve your financesFor many people , the term hypnosis evokes images of spinning spirals, swinging watches and zombie like subjects who cede control of their thoughts to a mesmerizing master.
This Hollywood notion of what hypnosis is, is actually quite inaccurate.

In reality, hypnosis is a state of deep mental and physical relaxation coupled with a heightened awareness by the subject. In fact, the individual is often many times more alert than normal. He or she can hear everything, and will not do anything that they would not normally do. Any suggestion that runs against their belief system is instantly rejected.

If an individual likes and wants the suggestion given, he can allow it to enter the subconscious. The subconscious absorbs the positive suggestion to help motivate the individual to his or her desired goal for change. For example, an individual who truly wants to quit cigarette smoking will allow the hypnotist to provide suggestions that will make the desire for cigarrettes in his subconscious undesireable. When that occurs, the craving will be eliminated and possibly be substituted with a more healthful alternative.

A Hynotist can help you with fear, guilt anger management and financial success and can help with anger management, self confidence. We are all subject to our subconscious programming. If that part of our mind sees us as overweight, then we'll probably be that way. If it feels we should worry easily we will live in a state of anxiety. The wonderful thing about hypnosis is that we can quickly and effectively reprogram that part of us for lasting benefit.

In terms of medical value, hypnosis has been used as a powerful and sole anaesthetic for many years. In 1955 the British Medical Association approved the use of hypnosis. In 1958, the American Medical Association followed. Beyond anaesthesia, hypnosis has shown remarkable benefits for reducing blood pressure, reversing burns, lessening bleeding, skin disorders, gastrointestinal problems and much more.
